Well Certification: Water Testing Labs of Maryland specializes in testing well water for real estate transfers. We test for conventional, VA and FHA loans. We also test for new well use & occupancy permits.
Septic Survey: Survey includes locating and inspecting tank, distribution box, and drain fields and/or drywell(s), along with a file search and visual inspection.
Termite Inspection: A certified inspector will inspect your house for termites and termite damage. Pest control companies make a lot of money selling termite treatments. We do not sell termite treatments. That is why we charge more for the inspection than a pest control company.
Flow Test: If the property is being financed by the FHA, the water system must be capable of producing at least 3 gallons per minute per dwelling unit. This corresponds to 3 gpm for a single family residence.
The pricing below is for Anne Arundel, Baltimore, Caroline, Carroll, Cecil, Dorchester, Harford, Howard, Kent, Queen Anne, Somerset, Talbot, Wicomico and Worcester counties in Maryland. Pricing for all other counties in Maryland, Delaware and northern Virginia are slightly higher, for mileage and travel time.

VA Financing
VA loan requirements differ with each lender. Please check with lender for testing needed and email sales@wtlmd.com or call 410-643-7711 for pricing. FHA financing plus arsenic will cover almost all VA financing requirements.

Site Visit $100.00, additional cost for counties not listed above
If we come to your site and cannot get a sample for any reason beyond our control. For example: we cannot take a sample for a private well that has chlorine in it. If there is chlorine in the sample, you will be charged a site visit for our time and mileage.
